Chinese New Year Eve
As usual during our eve of CNY, we'll have lunch at my in-laws and dinner at my parents.
"Every year my mom will cook a nice reunion dinner consist of abalones, sharksfin, mushrooms, duck etc. The food is fit for a village."
"Look at the two little monkeys!"
CNY - Day 1
On CNY Day 1, we visited my in-laws, some friends', my parents and finally my Aunt Stella in Cheras. As usual like every year, we'll all gather at my Aunt's place for a nice dinner.
Cheeky Princess doing a smiling pose
Princess in her Chinese "cheongsam"
Boy in his Chinese costume
Princess's favourite cousin, Cassandra (my eldest sis's daughter)
Princess performing "Baa Baa Black Sheep" in her pajamas at my Aunt Stella's house.

Chinese New Year is always a fun time for kids. Always tiring for mummy and daddy though.

After a long absence such a long post.. :P
Looks like the kids and you guys have so much fun!
Darien's CNY costume is cute but a bit oversized huh? But then he can wear it still next year, and probably the year after.
I like the video on Denisha wearing the pants, things we take for granted seems like a feat to a child. But she managed.. how old did she start doing this on her own?

Looks like a great CNY for everyone. Your princess has such a cute smile. Great pix.
I too had the same thought as Zara's Mama on your girl wearing her pants. Only parent's think such things are significant. Hahah.

egghead: yeah they are absolutely cute. Bought it during a disney warehouse sale. Cheap .. originals for 20 bucks. I only go for bargains .. :) You know kids grow real fast.
baby smooches: we were aching all over and not forgetting dark circles, eye bags. hehe.
Zara's mama: yeah i was on long leave so not much chance to blog since we don't have a phone line yet in our new home.
Yeah la. My MIL bought it from China .. its like for a 4 year old ... much too oversized. I would know my own son's size ... ah well .. he won't have the chance to wear it anymore ... cos its spoil oredi ... yeah thread coming out from all directions. Thank goodness :Þ
She started to wear her clothes herself when she was 20 months. See the smile she has when she managed to pull it up ... hehe. Such a sight!

Welcome back! after missing for a while, it's good to see the back-dated posts for an update of Denisha and Darien. They seems to be getting cheekier each day-hor?
i really like the kiddies' chinese costumes. even if the kiddies can't wear it anymore, i think you should keep them for remembrance.
